Hommes-brebis et hommes-papillons ou les épuisements du terrain

Sylvain Prudhomme, nomadisme du roman

Chapter author : Mathilde Roussigné

Publisher : Lettres modernes Minard

This article analyzes the work through the prism of the field and the confrontation of words with things. It identifies an obsession with exploring and capturing the outside world, through the implementation of diverse protocols for capturing the real. Far from any simplistic apprehension, the work proposes a critical, sometimes melancholy, sometimes playful approach to this imaginary exhaustion of things by words. The relational track is a way of overcoming this exhaustion of and of the field.
